1.) Agency Disclosure. Old Westland Realty has the following office policies, as far as agency is concerned. (If dealing with another agent, please make sure of their office policies.)
Sellers Agent: If we have a property listed, we are working as a sellers agent only.
Buyers Agent: If you as a buyer, are not interested in anything we may have listed, but wish for us to act as your sole agent for
locating a property, or to act as your sole agent on the purchase of a property listed by another agent, we will require compensation from you the buyer. Rates will be negotiated, according to type of property being
purchased/offered upon. If you have any questions about this, please do not hesitate to ask.
2.) Read the Sellers Property Disclosure Statement, and ask questions if anything is unclear.
If you are concerned with any one particular aspect of the home/land, pay for inspections to be done, by a licensed and qualified contractor.
3.) Make notes on the actual distance of utilities from your
possible house and well sites. Check with the local power and telephone company on possible costs.
4.) Water Quality, Well Drilling or City Water Supply. Get opinions from well drillers, State
Engineers District Office and other qualified individuals, regarding water table depths, costs of drilling/ city hookup.
Remember: Always ask questions if you have any doubts. We at Old Westland Realty will always attempt to answer questions posed, to the best of our knowledge. If asked a question to which we do not know the answer, we will try and find the answers or we may advise you to seek another professionals advise with regards to that particular subject.
